"Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee..." Jeremiah 1:5 "I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are they works; and that my soul knoweth right well." Ps. 139:14 Psalm 139- God knows our path, and He will guide us.

Mitchell's Heart
This is our site for James Mitchell born May 20, 2009. Mitchell has Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS). The left side of his heart failed to develop properly. He has had 2 of the 3 required heart surgeries. (The Norwood and the Glenn). The Fontan will be the next surgery- as he grows, he will require additional passive blood flow to his lungs for adequate oxygenated blood for his body. We anticipate this surgery around age 3. Thank you for your interest and support of our adventure.
